Harvey Sollberger co-founded the Group for Contemporary Music in New York
City in 1962. For the next twenty-five years he was the Group's
co-Artistic Director (with Charles Wuorinen), and was active on its
concerts throughout that time as a flutist and conductor. What follows is
a sampling of the press commentary and response to the Group's activities
during that period. |
